These are the hikers who have embraced the Cape2Camp spirit time and again, exploring the stunning landscapes of the Cape to Cape Track and Bibbulmun Track with us. Their stories inspire us, their passion fuels our journey, and their feedback helps shape what Cape2Camp is today.
Ane has completed three Cape2Camp experiences: Cape2Camp In a Nutshell, Cape2Camp Family, and Cape2Camp Great Southern, hiking a total of 141 km with Cape2Camp. What Ane loves most about Cape2Camp is the concept itself—combining the connection of people, the serenity of nature, and the joy of adventure.
Ane carries heavy camera gear yet somehow still runs ahead of us all. Beyond her remarkable energy, she’s a great friend on the trail, and we cherish every moment shared with her.
The Photographer Extraordinaire
Donna has hiked the Cape2Camp Great Southern and Cape2Camp Southern Explorer, covering a total of 127 km. Her love for hiking at her own pace and her passion for campfires make every Cape2Camp experience unforgettable.
Donna reminds us all of the simple joys of gathering around a fire after a long day on the trail—there’s truly only one Donna!
The Campfire Lover
Tonia, who calls the Cape to Cape her backyard, has completed both the Cape2Camp Great Southern and Cape2Camp Southern Explorer, hiking 127 km in total. Her passion for local tourism and sharing the beauty of the region is unmatched.
Cape2Camp’s seamless, walk-in, walk-out campsites make it an ideal experience for her to showcase the incredible place she calls home.
The Local Tourism Champion
From celebrating her birthday with friends to hiking with her daughter, Liz has completed both the Cape2Camp Family and Cape2Camp Great Southern, hiking a total of 81 km.
Her husband shared with us that the only “problem” now is that Liz only wants to do Cape2Camp for all her hikes!
The Celebration Adventurer
There’s team-building, and then there’s the Meillon & Bright Team. During their annual end-of-year office celebrations, they take to the track, facing challenges like soft sand and warm weather together. Over the years, they have covered a total of 65 km, creating unforgettable memories that inspire stories in the office for the year ahead. Their camaraderie and resilience remind us all that, as Steven Bartlett says:
"If you travel by yourself, you go fast. If you travel in a team, you go further."
The Office Trailblazers
It all started with our flagship Cape2Camp Southern Explorer, guiding hikers from Prevelly to Cape Leeuwin. Inspired by the enthusiasm and feedback from our hikers, we expanded our offerings to include the Cape2Camp Great Southern on the Bibbulmun Track and the Cape2Camp Family package.
Now, with adventures spanning both the Cape to Cape Track and the Bibbulmun Track, we’re delighted to see the Cape2Camp community grow. From seasoned explorers to families introducing their little ones to the joys of nature, Cape2Camp has become more than just a hiking journey—it’s a shared experience that connects people with the outdoors and each other.
Trailblazers are the heart of Cape2Camp. Anyone who completes more than one Cape2Camp experience becomes part of this special group. They embody our core values of passion, connection, accessibility, sustainability, and personability. These hikers return, not just for the trails but for the connection to nature, people, and the simplicity of being outdoors.
